HTV Mini Player Offline...Run HTV On Demand While Not Connected...
HTV Mini Player Offline by Amanda Interactive Inc.
Download HTV Mini Player:  HTVMiniPlayer.zip
HTV Mini Player Offline: 1.0
Release Date: 07/18/10

Last Update: 07/20/10 - 04:00:00 PM EST
Disabled HTML IE Object to prevent accepting accidently dropped files.
Only Drag & Drop Boxes will now accept files. Re-download to get this
improved version update.

System Requirements: WinXP or higher. Compatible with win32/x86 & x64 OS.
Uses IE components so Internet Explorer v6 or higher is also required.

Other Requirements:
Hal Windows, AutoIt, or Ultra Hal software install not required. Just a Haptek install is
all that is required to use the new HTV Mini Player Offline. This version is also Windows7
x64 compatible which just means that it can run within one core of a multicore system so
that the Haptek character will have no problems or issues while running on a x64 multicore
system. Select the X64-Multi Configuration button on the startup screen to run in one core.
Select Default Configuration to run in all cores for testing purposes. A win32/x86 system
will not display the x64 startup option so just use the Default Configuration. Additional
startup options may be available within a future update.

Overview:
This experimental demo version of the new HTV Mini Player Offline is basically just a
free Haptek utility program that can be used to test out the new Haptek hover/point&click control engine that is currently being used in the new unreleased Hal Windows OS Interface
v2 version. This free version of the HTV Mini Player Offline program has no trial period
limitation and contains no adware no spyware or other types of similar crap. If you
obtained it directly from us then it's 100% safe & crap free!

Main Features & Instructions:
After unzipping there is nothing to install. The HTV Mini Player Offline folder and file,
HTVmpo.exe, can be placed anywhere and it will work. So the only additional thing to
do is just create a new shortcut for HTVmpo.exe and then place the shortcut anywhere,
right on your desktop is a good place.

The "Documents" subfolder contains the control arrows that are displayed within the
main GUI window as well as the other source files that it uses for loading and running
the Haptek character. Just the main HTV Theme files are included with this program
so a user will be required to download all the other HTV Theme files for each HTV Show
from the Hal Windows Central website and then place the files in the Documents folder
in order to run all HTV Mini Player Haptek presentations. All the HTV File Downloads
can be obtained from the HTV File Downloads page: http://halwindowscentral.com/HTVFileDownloads.aspx

After downloading and unzipping select all the files from each theme folder and paste
them into the Documents folder. The zip files can be saved as backups for restoring
if for some reason things stop working correctly. Before downloading the other files
you can startup and use the HTV Mini Player but you cannot run any music video
shows until after you add in the additional files. You can read more about how the
HTV Mini Player works at the main HTV On Demand page:
http://halwindowscentral.com/HTVOnDemand.aspx

The HTVmpo.html file functions as a javascript based character plugin file for the main
HTV Mini Player program. So a user can manually swap out the HTML file and then
replace it with another HTML file that has the same name and then the main program
will use the new HTML file that was just swapped in. This means that a user can
use any kind of compatible HTML file made by either themself or someone else.
A compatible HTML file just means anyone that loads and runs a Haptek character.

The "HTMLs" subfolder just contains a backup copy of the HTVmpo.html file which is
encrypted, so it cannot be viewed or edited but it can be swapped with another HTML
file made by us or someone else. One thing to keep in mind when making or using
another HTML file is that the HTV Mini Player window is a custom made window which
is also a fixed sized. So any other HTML file would need to be programmed properly to
account for the main window configuration. The main HTV Mini Player Offline program
and the HTVmpo.html plugin file/design that it uses are made and owned solely by
Amanda Interactive Inc.

Advanced Built-in HTML Hap Hover Controls:
- Has an 8-way multi-directional game style arrow layout located at the bottom of the
main Haptek screen. Each arrow moves the character in the direction that it's pointing
towards. UP slides character straight up and DN slides character straight down.

- Click any hover control while hovering to toggle between default speed & high speed.
High speed moves the character about twice as fast as the default speed.

Advanced Built-in HTML Point & Click Controls:
- P0 P1 P2 P3 are the center position controls which moves and always rotates the
character to face forward (y= 0 degrees). W0 turns walking off and W1 turns walking
on. B0 loads in a secondary background image.

Additional Info:
- The Auto Rotate and Mouse Awareness features are on by default and can be turned off. There is no clipboard reader but there are Drag & Drop Boxes. Left drop box is for skins
haps oggs & right backs. And between the drop boxes is a small Volume Slider Control.
The Drop Boxes and Volume Control are part of the main program and not the HTML plugin
file so those controls will always be displayed and work with most any HTML plugin file that
runs a Haptek character.

- Also has two window modes, default window mode and gamer mode which is a borderless
window that can be switched to on-the-fly by clicking either of the two small upper corner
arrows. The "SKIN" or "BACK" label can be grabbed by the mouse cursor to move the
window around while running in either window mode. When in gamer mode the window
will automatically switch to an always on top setting and the always on top setting will
automtaically switch off when the window is toggled back to default mode. The window
is also a fixed size and while running in gamer mode it can be minimized restored or
closed from the system taskbar. We decided not to add in additional minimize and
close buttons for gamer mode because it looks cool just the way it is. The HTV Mini
Player Offline is fairly good just the way it is for easy general purpose use. Try it out
and you'll see for yourself. It works pretty good for a free experimental demo program.
Rock On & Enjoy!
