HapPlayer AX64 by Amanda Interactive Inc.
HapPlayer AX64 Version: 1.0
Release Date: 07/18/10
Last Update: 07/27/10 - 06:00 PM EST - Re-download to get this improved
version update. Added Clipboard Reader On/Off checkbox and added new

at top and have tooltip labels as visual indicators. Virtual Desktop function will
automatically load images of desktop as Haptek backgrounds when changes
occur on the actual desktop. No image loads occur while HapPlayer AX64
window is the current active window on desktop so it's better and easier
to use.
Previous Update: 07/20/10 - 04:00:00 PM EST
Disabled HTML IE Object to prevent accepting accidently dropped files.
Only Drag & Drop Boxes will now accept files.
System Requirements: WinXP or higher. Compatible with win32/x86 & x64 OS.
Uses IE components so Internet Explorer v6 or higher is also required.
Other Requirements:
Hal Windows, AutoIt, or Ultra Hal software install not required. Just a Haptek install
is all that is required to use the new HapPlayer AX64. This version is also Windows7
x64 compatible which just means that it will automatically run within one core of a
multicore system so that the Haptek character will have no problems or issues
while running on a x64 multicore system.
Overview:
This experimental demo version of the new HapPlayer AX64 is basically just a free
Haptek utility program that can be used to test out the new Haptek hover/point&click
control engine that is currently being used in the new unreleased Hal Windows OS
Interface v2 version. This free version of the HapPlayer AX64 has no trial period
limitation and contains no adware no spyware or other types of similar crap. If
you obtained it directly from us then it's 100% safe & crap free!
Main Features & Instructions:
After unzipping there is nothing to install. The HapPlayer AX64 folder and file,
HapPlayerAX64.exe, can be placed anywhere and it will work. So the only
additional thing to do is just create a new shortcut for HapPlayerAX64.exe
and then place the shortcut anywhere, right on your desktop is a good place.
The "Themes" subfolder is just used for storage and it contains the HTVtheme
folder which has copies of the HTV files used in this demo program as a default
theme. A user can place their own additional theme folders here as well. A theme
folder usually contains two background files, a character skin file, an audio ogg file
and a hap mood file. When the HapPlayer AX64 program starts up the HTML file
that it uses will usually look for these types of files and then load them into the
Haptek Player from the "Documents" subfolder. A user can change or remove any
theme file located in the "Documents" subfolder. Change the skin/backgrounds
or change the haptar or remove the audio ogg etc. A user can also modify the
HapMood.hap file.
The "Documents" subfolder contains the control arrows that are displayed within
the main GUI window as well as the other source files that it uses for loading and
running the Haptek character. The HapPlayerAX64.html functions as a javascript
based character plugin file for the main HapPlayer AX64 program. So a user can
manually swap out the HTML file and then replace it with another HTML file that
has the same name and then the main program will use the new HTML file that
was just swapped in. This means that a user can use any kind of compatible
HTML file made by either themself or someone else. A compatible HTML file
just means anyone that loads and runs a Haptek character.
The "HTMLs" subfolder just contains copies of two different HTML files that can be used
with the HapPlayer AX64 program. A user can also store more HTML files here and then
use them by renaming anyone to HapPlayerAX64.html and then just move it to the correct
location which is the same place where the HapPlayerAX64.exe is located. The two
HTML files that are included with this free demo are HapPlayerAX64Basic.html and HapPlayerAX64Advanced.html. The advanced file is the one that is used by default.
The advanced file is encrypted and has built-in on-screen controls. The basic file is
not encrypted and has no controls. The basic file can be used as a starting template
to make new HTML files that do whatever a user programs them to do.
Advanced Built-in HTML Hap Hover Controls:
- Has an 8-way multi-directional game style arrow layout located at the bottom of the
main Haptek screen. Each arrow moves the character in the direction that it's pointing
towards. UP slides character straight up and DN slides character straight down.
- Click any hover control while hovering to toggle between default speed & high speed.
High speed moves the character about twice as fast as the default speed.
Advanced Built-in HTML Point & Click Controls:
- P0 P1 P2 P3 are the center position controls which moves and always rotates the
character to face forward (y= 0 degrees). W0 turns walking off and W1 turns walking
on. B0 loads in a secondary background image.
Additional Info:
- The main Auto Rotate feature is always on by default and there is no control to shut
it off. There is also no Mouse Awareness feature or other things like a Clipboard Reader
or Drag & Drop Boxes. Those and other features may some day be added in, but they
are already included in other programs made by us, so we are simply just not duplicating
features at this point in time. The HapPlayer AX64 is fairly good just the way it is for easy
general purpose use. Try it out and you'll see for yourself. It works pretty good for a free
experimental demo program.
Yours Truly,
Amanda Interactive
